Supper clubs, or restaurantes a puertas cerradas, are by no means a new phenomenon in Buenos Aires, but there’s always a flurry of excitement when the key opens the door to a new offering.
Notable openings include Casa Felix, a vegetarian restaurant run by a husband-and-wife team who use native plants where they can, as well as the go-to Cocina Sunae, the only place in the city to specialise in Southeast Asian delicacies. However, this past month has seen two closed-door spaces at opposing ends of the spectrum open: a tea salon and a Colombian restaurant.
